Convenient location in the area. I'd totally return to this place. They make everything easy here, and we had such a great time during our visit! 🌟

Good location and helpful staff but lacking a little on the management.
Access to the pool was patchy and children not treated with respect by pool attendant. Cleaning in function room was of a poor standard though the hotel was very busy. Food on floor from previous night and cobwebs in particular.

Delightful breakfast with tasty dishes. the service was on point, and the staff knew their stuff. 🌟 being right in the heart of everything was a great bonus.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and a good quality restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't use the spa/pool as we had too much exploring to do in our 4 day visit.
Just that strange damp smell along the corridor to our room.

Spotless hotel in a lovely building very close to then Westport house as well as the outskirts of Castlebar-Plenty of music in the bars at night and lots of shops/ eateries. Extremely pleasant, brand-new room, patient staff with what manager was proposing. Hearty continental breakfast provided with the pancake machine and good value as can be expected and so much hot food. The pool area is very clean too. A tennis court available for guests too.
Wi-Fi was awful.

The staff were exceptionally pleasant. That hotel was in a marvellous location, comfortable to let the kids run wild in the forest.

The hotel was great. What makes it special is that the hotel is in a castle. The staff are nice and the facilities are good and the rooms spacious and clean. I can definately recommend this hotel.

Our stay was very enjoyable short, thoroughly enjoyed more than adequate breakfasts.
Came here for one night, recommendable. It was spotless with very good customer service. Restaurant was perfect for breakfast. The hotel's location was perfect, very close to the outside areas and the Museum of Country life.

It is a brilliant hotel (castle) to stay in. The staff are excellent and the rooms are spacious and well laid out. We arrived on Sunday and from the moment we checked in we were looked after. The Indo sitting in reception every morning was a pleasant surprise as it meant we did not have to go into town to get one. We ate in the bar the first evening and also the last night as we wanted to watch the football matches. Service was superb food was good and staff friendly and chatty. On morning of check out we were served coffee and biscuits and sat around and had a read of the Indo. The receptionist Deirdre was so professional was pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back to this wonderful Castle.
We enjoyed everything about this hotel.

This place is located centrally, near a well-equipped leisure center and close to several towns like Westport and Ballina, plus the continental breakfast has a fantastic variety of food options.

Large room, great-sized bathroom. All in all lovely location, very close to the main restaurant as well as Breaffy House at the weekend.

The first morning we were there we were awakened by the fire alarm going off very early, it was not a pleasant experience and kind of frightening. We were awakened on the last night of our stay and asked to move our car. They said there was an alarm ringing from it. We had been driving the car all over for two days and never heard any alarm. They made my husband park way far behind the building. When we returned the car today, we asked the car rental company about it and they said there is no alarm .whatsoever in that car. It was not very nice to wake up a man in his 70's late at night and send him out in the cold to park way far from the hotel. My husband had stayed there many times before and even brought is daughter over from US and had her wedding there. We have only been married a couple of years and he wanted bring me to stay, but thew days were dissasterous. Certainly not what he experienced before. We really think they just wanted the parking place we had, so they made us move
